Sofitec has been distinguished as part as the VII Asepeyo Awards for the best preventive practices, which is granted annually to recognize the companies that have stood out for their projects in the field of labour risk prevention.
Our colleagues of Human Resources team received this recognition at an event held in Seville, in which also have participated some representatives of Junta de Andalucía.
Sofitec has been recognized in the "Best practices of prevention management" category for its Integral Coordination, Emergencies and Access System, which allows to manage the works made in our facilities by people outside the organization, maintaining a good coordination at the risk prevention level.
For the implementation of this system, we´ve developed an internal procedure of Coordination of Business Activities (CAE) to inform about the different works and our own software (SOFTCAE) in which 73 companies and 220 workers are currently registered. Also, we have made a great investment for the acquisition of an access control software through a system of lathes and blocking doors, and a card system with RFID technology that manages the mobility of people inside the plant.
With all this we have achieved not only to maintain an effective control of the people who access the facilities, but also to optimize the coordination time and reduce the uncertainty in emergencies.
In Sofitec we strive to promote a preventive culture to enhance the awareness of all the people who are part of our team, and all those collaborators who participate in our industrial project.
